Arguably, the Emmitsburg apparitions are the most prolific Marian apparitions in history. Because of the volumes of messages given, we may now put this time of the suspension of new messages to good use, making it a time of study on what has been given; as well as, the dissemination of previous information, given through Gianna Talone Sullivan. Therefore the role of Ambassadors of Our Lady of Emmitsburg will be extremely important in this regard.
After waiting for several years, we believe that it’s time for us to engage the Ambassadors of Our Lady of Emmitsburg. This group is currently being set up as a group with members who are tasked with studying, reflecting upon, and living out; as well as, spreading the messages, which have flowed from the Emmitsburg apparitions, given to Gianna Talone Sullivan. It is also tasked with promoting the The World Wide Prayer Group of Our Lady of Emmitsburg. Each month, we will be providing Ambassadors with suggestions, materials and inspirations aiding in the effort of bringing these messages to the world, helping all to live out the Gospel message more fully. Because those who follow Our Lady of Emmitsburg are located all over the world, we will be utilizing Internet, email, US Postal mail to connect with members. In addition to these existing methods and technologies of communication, we are working on the coordination of new telephone technology that will enable us to connect large groups of people together all over the world. This will give us the opportunity to personally keep you informed and enable those without Internet access to remain a vital part of this effort. Also in the near future, we will be providing a previous message on a weekly basis. It will be selected with a focus on the up-coming Sunday’s Liturgical readings, and will be provided as an aid to private study and reflection. We can find no more appropriate way to end this initial article to Ambassadors of Our Lady of Emmitsburg by quoting Ephesians.
“Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens. Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground. So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate, and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all (the) flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit.” Ephesians 6:10-18
