The Beginning of the
Mystical Experiences
It began with a trip to Medjugorje. The experiences continued when she came home.
In the late 1980's during a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, Gianna began to hear the voice of our Blessed Mother. Apparitions and messages from Jesus and the Blessed Mother followed upon her return home.*
In 1988, Gianna began experiencing apparitions of the Blessed Mother, almost every day. She joined others from the Scottsdale area, who were also experiencing heavenly locutions and apparitions, after their trip to Medjugorje.
A prayer service, at St. Maria Goretti Parish, Scottsdale, Arizona, was established in response to the original members of the group. With Gianna's inclusion, the total number of individuals experiencing mystical phenomenon in the Scottsdale group jumped to nine.
There is no doubt: It was certainly an amazing time in the life of St. Maria Goretti's parish.
