Wow! You REALLY have friends!!!
In our last newsletter, we asked for your help. We asked that you to consider becoming a 15 Minute Media Missionary, taking 15 minutes to pass the video link of The Final Chapter to your friends. You must have a lot of friends! We received approximately 50,000 hits on the web site video after the newsletter! For the month of March we received 86,219 hits!!! You are a strong and powerful remnant!!! Thank you so much for spreading the word.
Our Lady of Emmitsburg has stated, "there is a tremendous mission now in which you are all invited to be ambassadors of Light, a mission of action, to proclaim the Word of my Son" 09/03/06
Thank you again for accepting and fulfilling this mission and through it being ambassadors for our Lady as she leads all to her Son, in these times. Thank you.
You told us there was trouble
We had a number of people inform us that they had visited The Final Chapter on YouTube, placing comments and ratings that did not appear or were not counted. We ask for your patients in this area as we continue to try to resolve these problems. We are new to YouTube and are still in the learning curve on many facets of its applications.
We have also received emails expressing some frustration in the technical aspects of some of our pages.
The three main complaints were:
* Too many clicks to get to the story,
* navigating YouTube is too hard, please make it easier,
* too long waiting for pages to load up on the computer screen.
Resolutions to complaints
* From this point it will be our pleasure to design our pages with less links between stories.
* Concerning YouTube, we are currently making plans to embed all of our future YouTube videos right on our web site, this will make things far easier, alleviating the current problems.
* Unfortunately, the length of time it takes to load up a page is probably out of our realm. That problem may be a result of the type of Internet "hook up" you have. If you are on dial up, it always takes a considerable amount of time to load up pages. Faster methods of delivery are available from your provider.
We will continue to work toward giving you the latest news about Our Lady of Emmitsburg in the quickest, easiest, and most complete way possible. We will also do our best to continue to give you prayerful inspirational pieces in the most convenient and effective ways possible Thanks for your feedback. We like it when you talk to us.
Hold on we're coming
We do our best to answer all of your emails. However, due to the extensive work on the videos and Holy Week Liturgies we are behind in our correspondence. We hope to resume our normal work schedule next week. In other words, you will be hearing from us soon.
