Public Message of Our Lady of Emmitsburg,
To the world, through Gianna Sullivan,
July 16, 1998

My dear little children, praised be Jesus!
  Little ones, Jesus has sent me to you to help you.
  His Love for you is great.
  He is your Good Shepherd.
  He does not want division and devastation to happen at the hands of mankind.
  God loves you.  He does not want you to be frightened.
  Jesus does not instill fear.
  He is kind and understanding.
  It is the way of the world that has caused confusion, chaos and division.
  It has stemmed from a lack of prayer and love.
  Jesus sent me because, if people continued on a path without prayer and love, the world would surely end in destruction.
  God's Light and creation of life is beauty in itself.
  He has allowed me to highlight His steps which would ensure the integrity and safety of the world, steps to maintain the beauty of the world and steps to being free.
  Many people have chosen not to listen to my words or receive my help, yet many people have responded.
  We must hope for tomorrow and work diligently in the field of love.
  The principalities of darkness would like to cloud your vision for a new tomorrow, and many people have become immune to the effects of love.
  But Jesus has hope for you.
  He wants you to live your gift of life free from fear and burdens.
  He is with you.  Never forget, He is your God.
  He is your gentle and kind shepherd.  He is with you always.
  He will weed out good from evil.
  Do not give up hope in Him.  Trust in His salvation.
  I love you, little children, and I take your petitions to the Father.
  Peace to you.
  Thank you for responding to my call.
