Do not wait until God's warning strikes the souls of every person in this world, for it will be very difficult to respond and change. Please respond now to God's call. There will not be much time after God's warning for the fire of purification to befall you. Some events are inevitable.
Pray with all your hearts that you will be able to persevere in your faith and not turn from God.

The Purification:
Not the Action of a Vengeful God,
The Action of a Loving God.
Many who follow the spiritual direction given by Our Lady of Emmitsburg believe that the Purification will not be the action of a vengeful God, but the action of a loving God, Who will permit purifying acts and grace to enter into the lives of all His children, giving all the opportunity to know the Truth, and therefore become closer to God.
It is also believed that in our time, the laws of God have been placed beneath the laws made by people. One of the many consequences of these acts is a deepening blindness to the ways of God. In order to correct the blindness; as well as, the many other disorders that result from this imbalance, followers of Our Lady of Emmitsburg believe that God, as a Loving and Divine Physician, will restore sight and health through the cleansing, or purification, of the diseased areas.
Through this cleansing, or purification, true healing will take place. And, God will be restored to His rightful position, at the center of the plan.
Then, and only then, will peace, health, and joy be reestablished.
